Leever To Sam Out Of The Pirates' Bullpen! Part 2

Sam Leever's second set of stats from his 1909 season don't look as good as some of the others on the list, but it might be due to the fact that he made only 19 appearances, total (And Leever did not pitch in any of the seven game of the World Series that year, despite being named to the postseason roster).

Of the 19 games Sam pitched, 15 came in relief. Sam only saved two games, and it is not known how many save opportunities he had in 1909. Leever only pitched 70.0 innings that year. His WAR is actually below zero, -0.1. But I still think he belongs on my list it makes its way back to the first decade of the 20th century.
